Overview

Trackworth is a privacy-first personal finance app. This policy is short because we collect almost nothing. Your financial data stays on your device — we never see it, store it, or transmit it.

Data We Collect

Financial Data

• We collect none of it. All transactions, accounts, budgets, and financial data are stored locally in a SQLite database on your iPhone.
• Bank statements you import (OFX, QFX, CSV) are processed entirely on your device and never uploaded anywhere.
• We have no servers, no databases, and no backend. There is nowhere for your data to go.

Purchase Information

• If you subscribe to Pro or Max, purchases are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit.
• We do not collect or store payment information (credit cards, billing addresses, etc.).
• We receive only a purchase confirmation and subscription status from Apple's on-device StoreKit framework.

Biometric Data

• Trackworth supports Face ID and Touch ID for app lock functionality.
• Biometric data is processed entirely by Apple's Secure Enclave on your device.
• We never access, collect, or store your biometric data.

Analytics & Tracking

• We do not use any analytics frameworks (no Firebase, no Mixpanel, no Amplitude).
• We do not collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, or usage data.
• We do not use tracking pixels or any form of telemetry.
• We literally do not know how many people use Trackworth.

Data Storage & Security

• Local-only architecture: All data is stored in a SQLite database on your iPhone, protected by iOS data protection encryption.
• Keychain: Subscription status and app lock preferences are stored securely in the iOS Keychain.
• No network calls: Trackworth makes zero network requests for data storage or retrieval. The only network activity is Apple's StoreKit for subscription management.
• Face ID / Touch ID: Biometric authentication is handled by iOS LocalAuthentication framework. We never access biometric data.
• Privacy overlay: A material blur overlay prevents your financial data from being visible in the iOS task switcher.

Data Sharing

• We do not sell your data. We don't have your data.
• We do not share data with advertisers. We don't run ads.
• We do not use Plaid, Yodlee, or any third-party data aggregator.
• We do not connect to your bank. You import statement files manually.

Data Export & Deletion

• Export: You can export all your data as CSV at any time via Settings (Pro and Max tiers).
• Deletion: Delete the app and all data is permanently gone. There is no cloud backup, no account to delete, no data retention period. We have nothing to delete because we never had your data.

International Data Transfer

There is no international data transfer. Your data does not leave your device. There are no servers to transfer data to.

Children's Privacy

Trackworth is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children — or from anyone, for that matter.

Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Under GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations, you have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data. Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you already have complete control over it. We cannot access, modify, or delete your data because we don't have it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy if we ever change how the app works. Material changes will be communicated through the app. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
